Pete earned an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree from Brock University in 1997 and joined Ward & Uptigrove that same year. Pete obtained his CA designation in 2007 and was appointed Partner at the beginning of 2023. 

Since his arrival at Ward & Uptigrove, Pete has gained valuable experience by being involved in the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns and various government grant applications for clients in the agriculture industry. Pete is also involved with financial and tax planning for clients. Pete is an active member of the Canadian Association of Farm Advisors. 

Pete grew up living and working on farms throughout Ontario and now resides in Listowel with his family He enjoys golf, baseball, hockey and any other activities he can fit into his schedule. Pete also volunteers coaching hockey, baseball and lacrosse.
