After Mark graduated from McMaster in 2010 with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce, he earned his CPA, CA designation in 2015 while working at a national accounting firm.  Mark focused on tax and completed the CICA in-depth tax program and Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner Managed Business.  

Mark joined Ward & Uptigrove as a Tax Manager in 2021, bringing experience in corporate reorganizations, buy/sale transactions, estate/succession planning and effective owner manager compensations.  He moved into his role as Principal at the beginning of 2023.

Mark enjoys playing hockey and is an avid golfer.  He is on the Board of Directors at the Galt Country Club.  Mark lives in Kitchener with his wife, new baby, and their ever-growing pets.
