AMERICA (HINA) is currently

seeking a Sales Manager. 

Reporting to the General Manager, this position will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing prospective clients in North America through direct sales and a network of sales agents. The Sales Manager will participate 

in the development of annual orders as well as sales targets and be measured by companywide KPI’s.

Located in Cambridge, HINA is the engineering, manufacturing and sales headquarters for Canada, U.S. and Mexico markets. Hofmann’s Head Office is in Perth, Australia and has been providing specialist engineering services since 1969. The Cambridge, Ontario location started operations in 2020 and primarily serves the stationary and mobile mining markets, mineral

Be part of a company where you will:

  • Build and maintain customer relationships, remotely and on-site; establishing regular contact with prospective and existing clients. 
  • Work directly with customers to identify product solutions for their unique requirements.
  • Act as liaison between the customer and multiple internal functions such as manufacturing, engineering, customer service, logistics, sourcing, accounting/finance, scheduling and purchasing departments to ensure customer satisfaction and responsiveness. 
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and responsiveness. 
  • Travel to customer locations within North America to finalize sales, provide products, service, and customer support.
  • Creates sales and customer reports for management. Analyzes sales data, customer feedback, opportunities and markets. Provides recommendations and creates sales plans for management approval.


Consider our team if you have: 

  • Minimum five years’ experience working in a senior technical/engineering sales position; preferably in the power transmission industry;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mining, mineral processing, primary metals or heavy conveyance industries. 
  • Contract negotiation and sales skills for high value capital equipment;
  • Experience/ability to manage mental demands of working away from home for periods of two (2) weeks at a time and to manage the physical demands of attending isolated and potentially safety sensitive locations. 
  • Excellent customer service, knowledge of health & safety, multitasking, organizational and communication skills;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and other applications including ERP and CRMs;
  • A valid Driver’s License and passport with the ability to travel internationally.
