Emily graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology in 2007, and subsequently went on to complete a post graduate diploma in Human Resources Management from Conestoga College. She obtained her CHRL in 2015. 

Emily started with Ward & Uptigrove HR Solutions in 2016, bringing experience from both the health care and automotive manufacturing sectors. She transitioned to the firm's internal HR Manager role in 2022 where she leads HR, recruitment and retention initiatives.

Emily lives locally with her family of five and when she’s not at work you may find her in a hockey arena or at the baseball diamond cheering on her children.
