Ben graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours BA in Economics and Accounting and is a CPA. He earned his Human Resources Management Certificate from the Conestoga College and has achieved his CHRL designation in 2006. 

Ben worked as a CFO in industry and joined Ward & Uptigrove’s business services group in 1999. 

In 2000, Ben started up the Human Resources Consulting practice providing business and HR solutions to both private sector and municipal clients. He has particular expertise in WSIB premium reduction, pay administration, market checks, pay equity compliance, employment law, performance management, senior manager recruitment & coaching and municipal organizational reviews. 

Ben has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Listowel since 1996. His passion is golf and he enjoys spinning
