Tonya graduated from Conestoga College with a General Business Diploma and Confederation College with a Human Resources Management Post-Graduate Certificate. Tonya is a Certified Talent Management Practitioner (CTMP) by the Canadian HR Academy and is a Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) with the Association of Professional Recruiters of Canada. She has also completed the Pay Equity Certificate Program, Investigation, DISC, and Driving Forces training. She is currently working towards her Professional Certificate in Leadership with the University of Western. 

Tonya joined Ward & Uptigrove in February 2014, bringing valuable hands-on human resources experience from the construction and agriculture sectors. Tonya is a highly experienced HR Advisor providing both our private and public sector clients with guidance through all aspects of HR including compensation, talent management, employee relations, discipline, performance management, accommodation, and return to work.

Outside of the office, Tonya can be found working with her husband and children on their farm.
